Is Outdore a property management system?
Outdore uniquely offers the functions of BOTH a property management system and an online travel agency.
Sign-up with Outdore to take hassle-free and commission-free direct bookings, PLUS receive extra bookings via the Outdore mobile app.
Manage both sources of bookings in the Outdore Owner portal (desktop) and in the Owner side of the Outdore app.
What are your charges?
It’s free to join Outdore and list your site. There’s no paywall for customer service support.

How can I accept direct 0% commission bookings?
Every campsite or glampsite onboarded with Outdore will be provided a shareable direct booking link.
The link opens a webpage of your site with the Outdore booking experience.
Realtime availability and automatic payment handling just like bookings made on the App are handled through the link. The difference is Outdore will not charge commission.
We recommend utilising the link by:
- Publishing an eye-catching “Book online” button on your website.
- If you don’t have a website, get one for free with a flick of a switch for more direct bookings.
- Responding to email enquiries with the link in the body of your reply.
- Send calling guests an SMS straight from the Outdore Reservations calendar (either from the Owner portal or the App).
- Adding it to your Google Business Profile.
Can I sync bookings from other sources?
Yes, our 2-way iCal keeps bookings and availability in sync with any source, including Airbnb, Pitchup, and many more.
Subscription plans can import up to four channels per pitch or unit, with the Starter plan only allowing one channel per pitch or unit.
Can I import bookings from a speadsheet?
Yes, add all of you existing bookings in bulk as a one-off. Include group details, bookings IDs and more.
Can I review Outdore sourced enquiries before accepting a booking?
All availability shown to prospective guests via the Outdore app is instant book.
Don’t worry though, we have built Outdore specifically for camping and glamping. As such, we ensure campers can only book pitches that meet their criteria (dates, camping unit type, camping unit size and group composition). We also emphasise to campers that their booking is a preference of pitch and you as the Owner reserve the operational right to reallocate their booking to a different pitch.
Our reservation calendar allows you to block a range of dates on any of your assets at any time.

If a guest books direct via my link, do you provide the contact details?
Yes, we provide the guest’s full name, mobile number and email address for direct and non-direct bookings. We recognise the importance of you being able to communicate with your guests outside the Outdore platform.
Can I take direct bookings without being on the Outdore app?
No. Every listing published on Outdore will automatically be added onto the Outdore app.
Can I list on the Outdore App without using Outdore for direct bookings?
Yes. You will just need to set up the iCal synchronisation to your property management system. We offer free support should you require any assistance with this.
I'm a club certificated site, can I control who stays?
All guests will be asked to input their membership ID (number / email etc) at checkout. You can allow guests to book your site before joining your club or restrict online bookings to existing members. Reminders to join your club are possible via the optional automated messages sent before a guest’s arrival.
You can view the membership ID for every booking within your Reservations calendar.

Can I allocate campers at arrival, not at the time of booking?
Yes you can. Outdore is about you as the owner providing your guests with the much craved context of location. This is achieved by plotting your pitches on a satellite map for your guests to preference their location at the time of booking (you retain the right to re-allocate after booking).
You may either plot your pitches individually (allocation at booking), or allocate multiple pitches within the same plotted shape (allocation at arrival) – perfect for a grassy field where you let guests pick their spot. You can play around with both means of structuring your site with us, however we do recommend plotting your pitches individually if you can.
Do I have full control over my rates?
Yes, you retain full control over every aspect of your site.
You may define the following for a custom range of dates:
- Nightly price
- Minimum night stay
- The number of adults included per booking
- The price per adult
- The number of children included per booking
- The price per child
Choose to charge extra for dogs, awnings and electricity or water.
Some pitches or glamping units more glamorous? Put them in different rate groups to use different pricing tiers across your site.
Plus, you can add bespoke extras to sell or rent out by trip or on a nightly basis.
