Quick start
Be sure to use a laptop or similar sized screen for the best experience. A tablet is not advised and a mobile is not feasible at present.
What you'll need
A laptop sized screen is strongly advised for onboarding. (Ongoing booking management can be done on the portal or your mobile/tablet via the Outdore App.)
Speed things up with some wording to copy and paste from your website for your site description and terms.
You’ll need some photos of your site (the positioning, views, character etc) and some more photos of the pitches and/or glamping units. You only need 3 photos as a minimum to onboard.
How it works
- Register at portal.outdore.co.uk to create and publish your listing.
- Upon publishing, you will be taken to Stripe so you can take guest payments.
- With Stripe set up, Outdore will review the details of your site before setting it live.
After connecting Stripe, you will be able to get hands on with your listing and explore it from the guest’s perspective.
How long does creating a listing take?
Depending on the size of your site, it takes about 30 minutes to create your listing. Once you publish your listing, Outdore will review it in less than 24 hours before setting it live.
On creating a new listing, you have 2 weeks to publish it. To comply with our obligations under GDPR we archive any unpublished site after 2 weeks and delete the site after 6 months.
What happens after publishing?
After you’ve connected your listing to Stripe and your site is under review, you can do a number of useful things.
- Download the Outdore App to manage or take bookings on the go.
- Get commission free bookings from your own website.
- If you already have a website, add a link to a ‘Book online’ button.
- Turn on the free website which works instantly and requires no maintenance.
- Make sure to market your website on social media and importantly, Google Business Profile.
