You can add a refundable pitch care/damage deposit on a rate group basis.
From the owner portal, edit your listing and navigate to the Rate groups screen. Within each rate group, you will find a field to enter a value for the refundable deposit.
Deposits are refunded automatically to the guest 7 days after departure, however it can take Stripe a further 5-10 working days for the money to land into the guest’s bank account.
You can initiate a refund early after the guest departs by opening the booking in your reservations.
You can also stop the refund after the guest departs to hold onto the deposit if they incurred damages. To refund a different amount, stop the refund, then make a partial refund from your Stripe dashboard.
