Drawing camping pitches

Deciding how to structure your site

Allocation upon booking (recommended)

Draw each pitch individually if you allow guests to book their preferred pitch when booking your site. This offers a richer booking experience and minimises your day to day operations.

Once a guest books, you maintain the option to re-allocate them to an alternative pitch.

Allocation upon arrival

Ideal when there are no identifiable boundaries between pitches e.g a grassy field.

Draw a shape around the pitchable area and enter a value in the Total pitches box which will allow Outdore to keep count of remaining availability.

Rather than the guest knowing where their pitch is at booking, they will need to be allocated upon arrival instead.

Combination of both

A mixture of allocation upon booking and allocation upon arrival is best suited in this case.

  2. Each left mouse click adds a corner to your pitch.
