How bookings work
Bookings are distinctly separated as either your own Direct bookings, or Non-Direct (Outdore App bookings). Charges are applied to the Owner based on the source of bookings.
The Outdore booking process
In accordance to your site listing, guests will not be able to book a pitch or glamping unit if their group composition (including camping unit) does not comply with your listing.
Availability is real-time and provided availability is updated from 3rd parties.
Guests preference a pitch (subject to your structure) or glamping unit on your site. After booking, you retain control to reallocate bookings using the Owner portal or Outdore App.
At check out, guests can opt into purchased extras you upsell and for camping, hookups and awnings if you decide to charge extra for them.
Finally, guests are required to enter personal details, among their name, contact information, group details and when applicable (camping only), their camping unit. Outdore pass this information onto owners, regardless of the source.
Once a guest completes their booking, you and the guest will receive confirmation via an email and push notification to your mobile phone. Your guest will be able to view their booking in the Trips section of the Outdore App.
The booking will appear into your Reservation calendar on the both the owner portal and Outdore App where you will be able to view the booking, and the guest’s booking details.
A transaction event will be added into the Transactions tab of your Reservation calendar in the Owner portal.
The guest’s payment, minus Outdore fees will be processed immediately into your Stripe Connect account.
Payout scheduling can be configured when logging into your Stripe account
