Editing rates
Outdore holds a rolling 724 nights of rates into the future, adding a night with empty rates each day.
Nights only become bookable for guests with a minimum night stay and nightly price or minimum night stay and charges for adults and/or children. You may leave nights empty for closed dates but we recommend providing nightly price and min night stay values well into the future. Come back to the Rates tab on an annual basis to manage your rates beyond 365 days.
Selecting date ranges
Single click a column under the dates row to select a start date, then click again to select an end date.
Alternatively, click the date holder at the bottom left corner to open a date selector.
Editing rates
You can edit rates for a single night, or any date range of your choice.
You can set all of the following values for every Rate group created after selecting a date or date range.
- Minimum night stay
- Nightly price
- Adults included
- Children included
- Additional adult per night
- Additional child per night
Use the Rate editor table to enter values across each Rate group. Click Confirm, and you will have added values for your date range. Repeat these steps to add values for nights between today and two years ahead ending 31st December to proceed onboarding.
Ensure to Save the listing after confirming your rates.
Click the drop down above the Rates grid to view the values added for Min night stay, Adults included etc.
The Rate editor table
Minimum night stay
Specify the minimum number of nights a guest is required to stay for a booking to take place.
Nightly price
Assign a nightly price for each rate group.
Adults included (16+)
Number of adult places included in the nightly price. If fewer adults attend, children will use any spare included places before extra charges apply.
Change the value to specify the number of adults included in the nightly price. Continue to enter a value for the Additional adult per night.
Children included
Number of child places included in the nightly price. Children will use spare included adult places before being charged as extra.
Change the value to specify the number of children included in the nightly price. Continue to enter a value for the Additional child per night.
Additional adult per night
Outdore will calculate the guest’s fee based on the number of adults (16+ yrs) booked above the number specified in Adults included once all included places are used.
Additional child per night
Outdore will calculate the guest’s fee based on the number of children (<16 yrs) booked above the number specified in Children included once all included places are used.
Charging extras
Click Options and extras in the top right corner to open a panel containing options to charge Guests extra for their stay.
There is a Camping section and Glamping section depending on the presence of either asset type on your site.
You can charge for Dogs, Services and Awnings either by trip, or by the night.
Dogs
Outdore will charge for each dog based on the number allowed specified in your Rate groups.
Services (camping only)
Services are specified as Electric and Water hookups. You can specify the voltage in the descriptions of your Site from the Site details tab or individual pitch from the Map tab.
Services will only be charged against the guest if the relevant service is selected from the radio buttons for each pitch within the Map tab.
Awnings (camping only)
You will be able to charge extra for the awning types;
- Full awning
- Porch awning
- Gazebo
- Pup tent
Awnings will only be charged against the guest if the relevant awning is selected from the radio buttons for each pitch within the Map tab.
Extras to buy
If you offer any product or service at your site for guests to purchase at booking, at it here.
